E così Spotlight inizia la propria marcia. Il film di Tom McCarthy vince i premi grossi – film, sceneggiatura, menzione speciale al cast – ai Gotham Awards 2015, manifestazione legata al cinema indipendente.
Certo, i Gotham ogni anno sono tra i premi meno importanti e influenti – per dire, sono ancora più low budget degli Spirit Awards – ma vincere non fa mai male. Se poi ricordiamo che lo scorso anno vinse Birdman e fu in grado di legare tale vittoria fino alla notte dell’Oscar, non possiamo comunque prenderla sotto gamba.
