Sono stati consegnati nella notte gli ADG Awards 2016, ovvero i premi del sindacato degli scenografi, con un riflesso decisivo verso gli Oscar poiché come sempre con i vari sindacati buona parte dei membri vota poi anche per l’Academy.

Mad Max, The Revenant e The Martian sono i tre film vincitori (ci sono tre categorie) e sicuramente rappresentano una ventata di freschezza rispetto alle scenografie in costume e pomposamente d’epoca premiate solitamente. Inutile dire quindi che questi 3 film, non a caso tutti nominati anche per l’Oscar, si giocheranno poi quella statuetta nella categoria della scenografia.
