Finalmente c’è un premio che dà certezze in questa awards season, ed i film favoriti alla vigilia riescono a vincere senza sorprese. Parlo dei Writer’s Guild Awards 2018, i premi del sindacato degli sceneggiatori, che nelle due categorie hanno visto vincere Get Out e Chiamami col tuo nome come da copione.

Se per il secondo ormai non sembrano esserci più ostacoli verso la statuetta, non a caso la categoria dei WGA è la stessa cinquina candidata all’Oscar, per quella della sceneggiatura originale Get Out adesso è l’ovvio favorito, ma il suo rivale è Tre Manifesti, non candidato al WGA per motivi di regolamento ma ancora possibile guastafeste.
