Nella notte è stato il turno dei Writers Guild Awards 2021 dire la loro, ed i due premi ci hanno regalato risultati interessanti. Se infatti nella categoria non originale ha vinto Borat seguito di film cinema, in quella originale ha vinto Promising Young Woman.

Due vittorie meritate, ma il significato in vista dell’Oscar lo trovate voi da soli: Promising Young Woman è probabilmente adesso il favorito nella sua categoria, mentre in quella non originale all’Academy tornerà il grande favorito Nomadland, che qui ai WGA non era candidabile per motivo di regolamento.
