Ennesimo giro, ennesima vittoria di Nomadland: il film di Chloe Zhao si porta a casa i BAFTA Awards 2021, il massimo premio del cinema britannico, al cui interno ci sono moltissimi giurati dell’Academy americana.

Il risultato in terra inglese certifica la strada di Nomadland verso gli Oscar? Sembra quasi inevitabile a questo punto, ma gli avversari possono anche sperare in una statica che ha quasi dell’incredibile: per tornare allo stesso vincitore del Bafta e degli Oscar bisogna addirittura tornare indietro di 7 anni, e dal 2000 è accaduto soltanto 9 volte. Se quindi vincere ai Bafta porta sfortuna in vista degli Oscar, lo scopriremo tra due settimane.
