Sono stati assegnati gli European Film Awards 2021, in un certo senso l’equivalente degli Oscar per il nostro cinema europeo. Quest’anno però non potremmo valutarli come barometro per l’Oscar al film internazionale, poiché a trionfare è stato un film appartenente alla scorsa stagione dei premi (lo ritroviamo qui per il differente calendario d’uscita tra America e Europa).

Il vincitore infatti, anzi, dominatore, è stato Quo Vadis, Aida?, che si è portato a casa i premi principali di film, regia, e attrice. E per quanto riguarda sceneggiatura e attore il vincitore è The Father, anch’esso appartenente alla scorsa stagione dei premi. A mani vuote invece l’Italia.
