Sono arrivate le nominations dei BAFTA Awards 2022, vale a dire i massimi premi del cinema britannico.

Negli ultimi anni l’influenza dei Bafta nella stagione dei premi americana è divenuta via via sempre più importante, con tanti vincitori che si sono poi ripetuti all’Oscar (non a caso sono più di 500 i membri dei Bafta che votano pure per l’Academy), ma attenzione: dallo scorso anno il regolamento e la modalità di nominations dei Bafta sono cambiate, e per il secondo anno consecutivo tali modifiche si vedono con grande peso nell’elenco delle candidature.

Infatti, eelle categorie attoriali e nella regia, non hanno votato i membri dei Bafta, bensì una speciale giuria composta ad hoc che ha scelto, e non votato, i candidati. In questo modo si spiegano le tanti omissioni eccellenti, e qualche inclusioni totalmente inaspettate, che state per leggere tra poche righe.
