Sono arrivate le nominations per la nuova edizione dei Critics Choice Awards, l’associazione che riunisce critici di stampa, radio, giornali e web.

Fino a poco tempo fa tappa fondamentale nella stagione dei premi, purtroppo negli ultimi tempi i Critics Choice sono diventati via via sempre bizzarri – la scelta lo scorso anno di inserire tra i nominati Star Wars ben dopo l’annuncio delle nominations stesse, la decisione di inserire categorie ridicole che li fanno sembrare gli MTV Movie Awards, le dimissioni in segno di protesta di molti membri – fino a diventare quasi secondari quest’anno: annunceranno i vincitori addirittura l’11 dicembre, cioè ben prima che molti film in gara siano stati visti (pure dai giurati stessi, paradossalmente).

Comunque, da notare in queste nominations odierne è il continuo amore per Moolight e Manchester by the Sea, l’arrivo atteso ed impetuoso di La La Land, l’exploit di Arrival e Hacksaw Ridge, e la sorprendente esclusione di Jackie (invece Silence non è stato visto dai giurati).
