L’Academy ha annunciato tutte in una volta le varie shortlist di diverse categorie per concorrere alla nomination agli Oscar.

Cosa è una shortlist? Semplice, essendoci ovviamente centinaia di film da valutare, le varie giurie dell’Academy screma i titoli in vari gruppi, e da quelle i vari giurati voteranno per arrivare alle nominations.

Ci sono diverse esclusioni eccellenti, come tutti gli anni, ma possiamo finalmente sottolineare una gioia: l’Italia è presente grazie a È stata la mano di Dio di Paolo Sorrentino e rientra in corso per la categoria del Film Internazionale, esattamente a sette anni dall’ultima volta ottenuta sempre grazie a Paolo Sorrentino (che poi fu anche nominato e anzi, come tutti ricordate, la statuetta la portò a casa).
